Stmpd values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Stmpd handles your information when you use the app to create workout watermarks on your photos. Stmpd itself does not collect or store any of your personal data. The app integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements, and AdMob has its own data practices described below. By using this app, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Limited Data Collection
Stmpd itself does not collect or store your data. Your photos and Health workout data stay on your device. Advertisements are served via Google AdMob, which has its own data practices.
1. Information We Collect
Stmpd does not collect personal data. The app does not require an account, sign-in, email address, or any other identifying information. We do not run our own analytics, usage tracking, or crash reporting. The only third-party SDK integrated into Stmpd is Google AdMob (for advertising), described separately below.
2. Camera and Photo Library Access
Stmpd requests camera access so you can capture new photos to overlay with workout data, and permission to save the resulting images to your Photos library. All image processing happens entirely on your device. We do not upload your photos to any server or transmit them to any third party.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Data
Stmpd requests permission to read workout data from Apple Health (HealthKit) to create personalized watermarks with your fitness information. We only read the workout data you specifically allow the app to access. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server we control. We comply with Apple's guidelines for HealthKit data usage, including the prohibition on using HealthKit data for advertising.
4. Advertising
Stmpd displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob collects and processes information independently as described in Google's Privacy Policy, including advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, and app usage data used for ad delivery and measurement. Google AdMob may use cookies, mobile identifiers, and similar technologies for these purposes. CatBrains does not have direct access to this data.
5. Data Security
All image processing and Health data handling happens locally on your device. We do not operate any server or database that stores your photos or Health data. The security of content stored on your device depends on iOS's built-in protections (sandboxing, device passcode, Face ID / Touch ID).
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can limit or reset your advertising identifier through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and through Apple Advertising. For information collected by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how to access, modify, or delete such data.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page. Because Stmpd does not collect any data, we cannot proactively notify you of changes. Please check back periodically if you want to stay informed.
