Data Collection Required

We collect minimal personal data necessary for account management and service operation. Your data is stored on our servers for synchronization across your devices.

1. Collection of Personal Data

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service: • Account Information: Email address for account identification and authentication. • Financial Records: Income, expenses, categories, and transaction notes you voluntarily enter into the app. This data is manually entered by you, not linked to actual bank accounts or payment cards, and we have no means to verify its accuracy. • Device Information: Device identifiers, operating system version, and app version. • Usage Data: General service access patterns and error reports for service improvement. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government-issued identification numbers, biometric data, payment credentials, or precise geolocation. We do not connect to or retrieve data from any financial institutions.

2. Purpose of Data Processing

Your information is used to: • Create and maintain your account and verify your identity. • Store and synchronize your financial records across your devices. • Verify your license status. • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support. • Maintain and improve our service. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. We may use anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you for internal analytics and service improvement.

3. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or financial records to third parties. We do not monetize your data through advertising or data brokerage. While we may share data with service providers as described in this policy, such sharing is strictly for operational purposes and does not constitute a "sale" under most privacy regulations. However, certain jurisdictions may classify some data sharing activities (such as analytics) as "sales" or "sharing" under their specific statutory definitions. You may opt out of such activities by contacting us at the email address provided below.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds: • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the service you requested and to fulfill our contractual obligations. • Legitimate Interests: Processing for service security, fraud prevention, and improvement, where such interests are not overridden by your rights. • Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Consent: Where you have given explicit consent for specific processing activities. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.

5. In-App Purchases

Our app offers in-app purchases processed by the respective platform provider (e.g., Apple Inc. for iOS). All payment transactions are handled entirely by the platform provider. We do not collect, process, or store payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses. We only receive purchase confirmation and transaction identifiers for license verification purposes. For payment inquiries, refunds, or billing disputes, please contact the platform provider through which you made the purchase.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We may engage the following categories of third-party service providers: • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers for data storage and processing. • Analytics and crash reporting tools to improve service quality. You may opt out by contacting us. • Customer support platforms for responding to inquiries. • Security and fraud prevention services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only as directed by us. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We may change service providers at any time without notice. For a current list of specific providers, please contact us.

7. Legal Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, or government agencies). We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to legal process.

8. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will endeavor to ensure that the acquiring entity agrees to protect your personal information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy, and will endeavor to notify you of any change in ownership or control when practicable.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and preferences. We may also use analytics tools to collect anonymized usage data. You can control cookie settings through your device or browser settings.

10. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard security measures including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure authentication mechanisms, and access controls. Only authorized personnel may access personal data for technical support purposes. While we implement reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that may affect your personal information, we will take actions as required by applicable law, which may include notifying affected users and relevant authorities. The timing, method, and scope of notification will be determined based on legal requirements, the nature of the breach, and our assessment of risk. Notification may be delayed or withheld where required by law enforcement, ongoing investigation, or other legitimate reasons.

12. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you services. Upon account deletion request, we will endeavor to delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that deleted data may persist briefly in system backups before being overwritten. Retention beyond deletion may occur where required by applicable law or necessary for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

13. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at the email address provided below or through the account settings in the app, if available. Upon receiving your request, we will process your deletion request and endeavor to delete your account and associated personal data in accordance with the Data Retention section above. Please note that account deletion is irreversible, and you will lose access to all data associated with your account. Deletion of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any purchases made.

14. International Data Transfers

Your data is primarily stored on servers located in the Republic of Korea and may also be processed in other jurisdictions. By using our Service, you explicitly consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in these jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws different from your country of residence. We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by applicable law. However, you acknowledge that local laws in the destination country will govern data protection. In case of conflicts between jurisdictions, the laws of the Republic of Korea shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights: • EEA/UK Residents: Rights under GDPR including data portability, erasure, restriction of processing, and objection to processing. • California Residents: Rights under CCPA/CPRA including disclosure of data categories collected, deletion, correction, and opt-out of "sales" or "sharing" as defined by California law. • Other Jurisdictions: Rights as provided by applicable local privacy laws. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address provided below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We reserve the right to verify your identity and jurisdiction before processing requests. Certain requests may be denied where permitted by law, such as to comply with legal obligations or protect our legitimate interests.

16. Automated Features and Insights

The Service may provide automated categorization, spending insights, predictions, or recommendations based on your financial data. These features use algorithms and may incorporate machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies. Such automated outputs are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for financial, tax, legal, or investment decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of automated insights. You acknowledge that algorithms may produce errors or unexpected results, and we are not liable for any decisions you make based on automated features.

17. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
